Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Killbug's website, application, browser testing workspace, AI-assisted testing features, and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Killbug, a service operated by Dovdo Inc, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you use Killbug on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Killbug.
2. Description of Service
Killbug provides an AI-powered testing workspace for live product flows. The service helps teams create, schedule, run, maintain, and review browser-based checks, credentials, run evidence, and follow-up for customer-facing journeys.
Features may include testcase generation, browser automation, run history, recordings, issue tracking, notifications, and AI-assisted failure analysis. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Accounts and Workspace Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account or workspace. You must promptly notify us of unauthorized access or suspected security incidents.
You are responsible for the projects, home page URLs, credentials, testcase steps, schedules, and data you submit to Killbug. You must have the necessary rights and permissions to test the applications, accounts, and workflows you configure.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Killbug to violate laws, infringe rights, attack or disrupt systems, bypass access controls, scrape or exfiltrate data without authorization, upload malware, or test websites or accounts you are not authorized to access.
You may not interfere with the service, reverse engineer restricted parts of the platform, resell the service without permission, or use Killbug in a way that creates unreasonable load, security risk, or reputational harm.
5. Customer Data and Privacy
You retain ownership of the data, content, credentials, test definitions, run evidence, and other materials you submit to Killbug. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and use that data to provide and improve the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal information. By using Killbug, you also agree to the data practices described in that policy.
6. AI Output and Test Results
Killbug may use AI to generate testcase suggestions, browser actions, summaries, failure reasons, and other outputs. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require human review.
You are responsible for reviewing testcases, run results, and issue conclusions before relying on them for release, compliance, security, or operational decisions. Killbug helps identify risk; it does not guarantee that your product is defect-free.
7. Billing, Plans, and Taxes
Paid plans are billed according to the plan, billing cycle, usage limits, and price shown at checkout or in an applicable order form. You authorize us or our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for recurring fees, usage-based fees, taxes, and other applicable charges.
Plan limits may include projects, browser runs, schedules, users, retention, support level, or other capacity limits. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for taxes, duties, or similar assessments associated with your purchase.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel a self-serve subscription from your account billing settings when available or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but does not automatically refund charges already paid.
Monthly plans are eligible for a refund if you request it within 14 days of the first paid subscription charge and your workspace has not used the service in a way that indicates substantial consumption, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
Annual plans are eligible for a refund if you request it within 14 days of the initial annual purchase or renewal. After that period, annual fees are generally non-refundable, and you may continue using the plan through the end of the paid term unless the account is terminated for violation of these Terms.
Enterprise, custom, or negotiated plans are governed by the signed order form or written agreement. If that agreement includes different refund, cancellation, or payment terms, those terms control.
We will refund duplicate charges, billing errors, or charges made after a confirmed cancellation request when required by law or when our review confirms the issue. Unused runs, credits, discounts, promotional balances, or partial billing periods have no cash value unless we state otherwise in writing.
To request a refund, email [email protected] with the account email, workspace name, invoice or charge date, and reason for the request. We may ask for additional information to verify the account and evaluate the request.
9. Trials, Promotions, and Plan Changes
Trials, free plans, beta features, discounts, or promotional credits may be changed or discontinued at any time. Promotional terms apply only for the stated period and may not be exchanged for cash.
Upgrades may take effect immediately and may be billed on a prorated or full-cycle basis depending on checkout terms. Downgrades usually take effect at the end of the current billing period unless we state otherwise.
10. Intellectual Property
Killbug, including its software, design, workflows, documentation, branding, and service content, is owned by Dovdo Inc or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use Killbug only as permitted by these Terms. We welcome feedback, but if you provide suggestions or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
11. Third-Party Services
Killbug may integrate with or rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, payment processing, browser automation, AI processing, analytics, email, and notifications.
We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, products, or policies. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other party in connection with Killbug. Each party agrees to use reasonable care to protect confidential information and to use it only for purposes related to the service.
Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that is public, independently developed, lawfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Killbug if we believe your use violates these Terms, creates security or legal risk, harms the service, or if payment is overdue.
You may stop using Killbug at any time. Some provisions, including payment obligations, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions, survive termination.
14. Disclaimers
Killbug is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that every defect, regression, or vulnerability will be detected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dovdo Inc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to Killbug will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice by posting the updated Terms on this page or through another appropriate channel. Continued use of Killbug after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
