Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Killbug is operated by Dovdo Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website or use Killbug's AI-powered browser testing workspace.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, company or workspace name, billing details, support requests, survey responses, and communications with the Killbug team.

When you use Killbug, we also collect product and workspace data such as project names, home page URLs, testcase steps, schedules, run configuration, browser-session metadata, screenshots, recordings, logs, failed-step evidence, issue history, and notification preferences.

If you choose to store credentials for testing, we process those credentials only to run the product journeys you configure. You should not submit credentials, secrets, or data that you are not authorized to use for testing.

2. Usage, Device, and Technical Data

We may collect log data, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, feature usage, error reports, and similar diagnostic information.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure the service, remember preferences, understand product usage, and improve the website. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the service may not work without them.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Killbug; create and run browser-based checks; generate and maintain testcases; process payments; send service messages; provide support; investigate abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand reliability, improve product quality, and measure how teams use Killbug. We do not use customer credentials or private run evidence to market unrelated products.

4. AI Processing and Test Evidence

Killbug uses AI systems to help generate, run, analyze, and maintain browser checks. Inputs and outputs may include testcase steps, page context, run logs, screenshots, recordings, and failure summaries.

We design Killbug so sensitive testing context is used for the configured workflow and operational support. You remain responsible for ensuring that the product data and account context you submit may be processed by Killbug and its service providers.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate Killbug, including with hosting, authentication, database, payment, analytics, email, browser infrastructure, AI, and customer-support providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Killbug, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

6. Data Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, credentials, and run evidence against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use strong account authentication, limit who can access your workspace, and avoid submitting production secrets unless they are required and authorized for testing.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information and workspace data for as long as needed to provide Killbug, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business operations.

Run evidence, recordings, logs, and deleted workspace data may remain in backups or audit records for a limited period before deletion according to our retention practices.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

You can update some account information in the product. For privacy requests, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. International Processing

Killbug is operated from the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate.

By using Killbug, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions that may have data-protection laws different from those in your location.

10. Children

Killbug is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected].
