Configure the product, environment, and shared context for a testing workspace.
Projects scope every test case, credential, test plan, run, issue, and notification channel in Killbug.
Project model
Use one project for one product environment. Split projects when:
- The Base URL is different.
- Credentials and test data should not be shared.
- Release workflows should trigger different plans.
- Access or retention expectations differ.
Dashboard
The project Dashboard gives a quick view of coverage, recent runs, and automation setup. Use it to confirm whether the project has enough credentials, test cases, and test plans to support a release workflow.
Project switching
Project-scoped URLs keep navigation tied to the selected project. When you switch projects, verify that the sidebar and lists reflect the correct product before creating credentials, test cases, plans, or notifications.
