Notifications

Send run and issue updates to email or Slack destinations.

Notification channels help teams route test results and issue updates to the people who can act on them.

Targets

Each channel can send to:

  • Email: One or more email addresses.
  • Slack: A Slack incoming webhook URL.

Use team-owned destinations when possible so run evidence is visible even when individuals are unavailable.

Events

Channels can notify on:

  • Run started.
  • Run result, filtered by passed or failed.
  • Issue activity, filtered by priority.
  • New issue, filtered by priority.
  • Issue resolved, filtered by priority.

Create focused channels instead of one noisy channel. For example, route failed high-priority runs to release owners and lower-priority issue updates to a QA channel.

Slack webhook requirements

Slack targets must use an HTTPS incoming webhook URL from hooks.slack.com or hooks.slack-gov.com.

Credentials

Store reusable login context for authenticated regression checks.

Project settings

Manage project identity, Base URL, shared context, usage, and project deletion.
